Bela's POV
I wasn't sure if he would even want to speak with her. She had been out of the pack for so long, and it had been decimated. It took a lot of convincing the Beta to even bring it up to the Alpha. There was even more persuasion to get the heartless alpha to even speak with her. Dad was right. I did have a way with people. I watched Jade rise and head to her room. When she came out she was dressed for work.
"I thought I said I needed to call off," I said to her.
"Do you want me to go talk to this monster?" she asked.
"It's the only way to get the pack lands back," I replied.
"Then we do this my way," she said, walking out the door.
