Ethan stood up with lightning speed and snatched the letter out of his hands reading it himself. A hot red fury ran through his body. Only Juan's blood could calm this rage inside him.

Ethan kicked the table in front of him, running his hands to his hair and shaking his head. He couldn't let anyone harm his daughter. She was the only

one that mattered to him. "Where is Aurora? I want her guardedall the time, Thomas."

"I will hire the best guards for her but you need to calm down and think clearly, Ethan. Don't let your emotions drive you anymore."

Ethan raised his raging eyes and pinned them on Thomas. "He threatened my daughter."

Thomas sighed and opened a bottle of whiskey, filled the hard liquor into two glasses and handed one to his boss. "I hope now you understand why I was asking you to think about Liam."

Ethan's head snapped at Thomas. "What are you pointing at? Speak clearly, I don't have time to dwell into your jumbles."

"Ethan, I am asking you to think about Ryan's hinted words. We can fight and win this war with Juan anytime but only when you have your mind straight. Aurora is your weakness, everyone in the maia life knows it and they are taking advantage of it. Try to understand dear friend, we can't allow Aurora to be our liability."

When Ethan didn't speak Thomas knew he was listeníng to him. "Liam is the only one who can keep her safe and protected all the time. He had the reputation of a wild hawk in our world. Far more twist than his father, he is Our safe bet moreover they asked for the alliance first and you have Ryan in your hands. Aurora will be safer in Vancouver than she is in Churchill,"

Ethan swallowed the hard liquor, it burned through his throat. "I have Ryan in my hands but not his son. You saw that bastard yourself, Thomas. He Couldn't be controlled."

"Yes which nakes him even more suitable for Aurora. She needs a man who can handle her Ethan. Ryan will keep his son in line for you, If you want to win this battle then you have to think about Aurora's safety first and the only way to do so is, accepting this hinted alliance with Liam Knight."

Ethan closed his eyes for a moment and his late wife's face flashes in his memory.

"I will talk to him at the commission meeting about this," Ethan said.

The safety of his daughter mattered the most to him even if he had to siqn his daughter to the devil itself for it. He will do it for her.

"Wow, nice dress! Susan whistled, checking Aurora from head to toe. Aurora met her eyes in the mirror, "You thínk so? she asked,

"Yup. You look edible, cupcake. I wish I could turn into a man to have you myself"

Aurora turned around. "Susan, are you into girls now? What! tired with the opposite s*x, Find someone else because I still prefer boys."

She rolled her eyes and stepped Aurora aside from the míror and checked herself. "I still prefer boys but right now l am getting more with the dumb boys. I mean they are so normal,I want Someone who can hold my interest."

Aurora raised her brows. "Hold your interest. The man has not been born yet, you get tired with men ín two days." Aurora told her, shaking her head.

She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Ya! I am choosy so what not everyone is like you who get serious about your frst boyfriend, I mean seriously Aurora, you have not been with anyone before him

and you are gettíng serious about that Gabe. He could have flaws. Like real flaws."

Aurora smiled over Susan and her Overdramatic histrionics.

"Stop ignoring things, Aurora. I won't allow you to be with him if he doesn't meet the standards I set for man."

At that, Aurora turned to her "I am not asking your permission, Susan."

"Well, I don't care. You have not even explored your sexuality yet. What if he smells bad, what if he had hairs on his chest and there...I mean hairy men are gross!"

"Wow! Stop there, Susan" Aurora held her shoulders to gain her attention.

"Susan, my dear Susan, I love Gabe, I do, so please do me a favour and stop making him look bad"

Her lips were pinned in a straight line. "Alright!" She knew Aurora didn't like it when she got thìs protective of her but she couldn't just let her dive into something which doesn't suit her class.

Aurora hugged her from the side and paid for their shopping. When they were going back home Aurora received a message from Gabe. It read: Have a lunch with me?

"Okay!" She replied with a small smile breaking on her face.

"Must be your boyfriend if you are Smiling like this Susan commented.

"Yes, he asked me to have lunch with him"

"And you said yes! She asked, taking a U-Turn.

"Yes Aurora replied."

"Alright, I won't say anythíng as I promised earlier but at least test your product from buyingit. You never know it could be a defectíve one."

Aurora closed her eyes and sighed deeply. She was getting irritated with Susan's continuous jab. Susan, we have been dating for a short time only and Gabe never tried anything which makes me feel uncomfortable.."

Susan stopped the car. "Girl, that's what I am worried about. He is a man and which man can keep it inside. Look at yourself Aurora, you have a perfect body, I mean you look f*****g sexy in a nightdress and he never initiated anything with you till now. I know from experience that boys want what they want on the first date..." she told her jovially. But Aurora was losing patience with her.

There was a big difference between the boys she dated and my Gabriel, Aurora thought. "Susan, you date boys for a time pass, tell me truthfully have you ever been serious about any of them. No, you have not? That's the difference between Gabe and them. I am serious about Gabe and so is he. We are taking it slow. Second, you said that boys wanted only one thing but look at Gabe. He never pressured me for anything I am not comfortable with and I respect him for that."

Susan kept mum for a while and finally spoke. "Alright, but I always believe in testing the water before swimming. You never know how deep the water is! I love you like a sister Aurora and I don't want you to make a mistake. I like Gabe but he is far too straight for my taste," and yours too, she thought but kept it to herself, It was not like she didn't like him but there was something she couldn't point on. She had seen how he was trying to manipulate Aurora slowly and when she tried to talk Aurora about it, she told her that she is doing it because she loves him. Aurora asked Susan not to interfere in her relationship with Gaberial. She stopped tallking about Gabriel after that but she was worried about Aurora.

Aurora smiled. "I like my man straight. Keep calm, and drop me off at his restaurant will you?"

"Aye, Aye Captain." She said and started the engine and started driving. Aurora looked outside the window, huge buildings were passing by, and roads were filled with many other vehicles. Subconsciously she wrapped a lock of bair to my fnger. A small smile broke on her face remembering how Gabe loved touching them.
