“Don’t piss me off more, Violet. Just get the f**k out.” Lulu’s tone snapped.
God knows when Lulu hits that red zone, it’s over for anyone standing close.
“Babe…” Vi dragged it out, moving closer. “C’mon. You won’t even notice I’m here. I just…can’t leave you like this. You know that.”
“No, I don’t. And stop with the babe, that ended ages ago. I’ve got friends who can look after me. Now get out.” Lulu sighed, but her voice was steady.
