“Welcome…” I said, opening my room door with a dramatic gesture. My stomach flipped at the thought of us being here alone on this rainy night.
“You do know I’ve been here before, right?” Lucian said, already crouching like he owned the place.
For a second, the memory of the last time he was here flashed in my mind, I pushed it away.
“At least try and pretend,” I muttered, clearing the makeup kits off the table. “The girls really turned this place upside down.”
Before I could move again, his hand grabbed me and pulled me back.
I gasped softly as I landed on his lap, the couch creaking under us.
