The Adoption

"Here, look I'm so sorry for what I just did yesterday-" but suddenly Maxine pushes Topher away,

"Stay away from me! I dont want to be your friend anymore, you are being cruel and bad friend to me, I hate you, go to hell!" Maxine shouted angrily to Topher while crying and ran away.

Meanwhile, Topher was stunned and shocked by what Maxine just said to him and suddenly ran away and followed where Maxine went.

Topher caught Maxine crying while sitting in a fetal position on the edge of the bed in the girls' bedroom,

Topher slowly walked to where Maxine was sitting and quietly sat next to her,

"Im sorry Maxine, I didn't mean to" Topher said calmly while feeling sorry.

But Maxine didn't respond,

"I know you are mad at me for what I just did to your favorite dress and I understand, here I bought you a new one, I'm really sorry I wish you would forgive me," Topher said and suddenly Maxine looked at him.

Topher suddenly looked into her eyes, while were filled with tears.

Suddenly, Topher felt something else, He mesmerized by Maxine's beauty. Having tears on her eyes while sweating and still being pretty, it is just unbelievable.

"Where is it?" Maxine asked.

"Huh, what" Topher respond as he gaze Maxine.

"I said, where is the dress?" Maxine said.

"Oh, here" Topher immediately give it to her while staring at her.

Maxine quickly took the dress from Topher's hand,

"It's pretty, where did you bought this?" Maxine curiously asked.

"I don't want to tell you, because you might report me" Topher respond.

"Yes I will hahahaha" Maxine said sarcastically.

After that fight, their friendship gets better and better. But something unexpectedly happened.

"Miggy and Topher, sister Marry calling you, both of you!" Other orphan said.

"Huh? why? Topher what have you done this time?" Miggy curiously and angrily asked.

"Huh? nothing" Topher replied.

Suddenly, Miggy already knows what is happening,

"Miggy and Topher, this is Ms. Mendoza and she wants to adopt you both, isn't that great!" sister Marry said excitedly.

"But not now kids, I just need to finish some stuff before I legally adopt you two" Ms. Mendoza said.

"What about Maxine?" Topher asked as he whispered to Miggy's ears.

Miggy looked at him with a sad face.

"What's wrong, I heard sister Marry called both of you, what is happening?" Maxine asked with a worried face.

"Don't worry about it, sister Marry just called us to remind us our birthday" Miggy respond while having a smile.

"Oh, really? so when is you guys birthday?" Maxine asked.

"Don't think about it, we won't tell you hahahaha" Miggy respond sarcastically.

After the conversation Maxine went out to get some snack.

"You lied to her!" Topher angrily whispered.

"Yes, I am" Miggy respond.

"If she finds out about it, do you know how hard it will be it for her? you should have told her the truth Miggy!"

"Topher, listen to me don't you think if I told her now about it, do you think she will stay be friends with us that knowing anytime we will gonna leave her, no because she will be sad and she will just avoid us, you know Maxine."

After the conversation Topher just stay quiet about the adoption.

Topher saw Maxine sitting alone in the swing.

"hey" Topher said.

"hi, sit with me" Maxine said.

"You seems problematic, what are you thinking about?" Topher asked with curiosity.

"Have you ever asked yourself that when were the day that you will get the chance to be adopted, like having a loving parents or family is just only a dream for us orphan." Maxine said while overthinking.

Topher suddenly felt guilty, and he decided to tell Maxine about the adoption.

"I have something to tell you, but please don't be mad" Topher said.
