(April’s POV) I don’t know how long I’ve been here. They keep injecting me with that stuff and it makes me feel all weird. Everything just shuts down, like my senses are on vacation or something. I think I managed to get a real quick message through before. But I’m not entirely sure, seeing as I thought, at one point, I saw my Dad sitting next to me on this rickety old couch I’ve been curled up on since we got here. At least I think it's a couch. Thankfully, whatever it is they keep injecting me with is wearing off sooner and sooner each time. That’s Raine’s doing. She is constantly healing me and trying to purge it from my body and she’s getting better and better with it.
