(April’s POV)
After dinner last night, we spent a few hours in that hall ironing out some ideas. One of the things I loved about those meetings was everyone had a voice and no one was afraid to use it. It was something Alex and I talked about at length when we were alone and sort of discussing how we'd like to do things when it’s our turn to lead.
Alex is a good man. He always tries to think of ways to make people feel important and included. It’s one of the many things I love about him. And I know he’s going to make a great leader when his time comes.
But back to our plans.
Dad had the idea of using that conference as a decoy. So the first part of our plan was for them to attend the conference. Only instead of it just being the three of them, they are each taking their mates. Uncle
