(April’s POV)
Things were actually going better than I had hoped. Elder Michael was learning to cool his heels by being in a pack where he was almost the lowest man on the totem pole. He was also learning some new moves. They all were.
It’s been nearly a month since that night we told the Elders the truth and ever since then they’ve been sticking around to see how we do things around here. That includes training which several of them have actually joined in with, so have all their guards.
We haven’t heard anything more from Gray or Elder Ray, but I know in my heart that’s not going to last long. Some of the gang think they are two different beings, but not me.
