(Wyatt’s POV)
I was actually shocked by Alex’s statement. I'd no idea he felt so strongly about Elder Scott. I also wasn’t sure what he meant about his mother. Lily never spoke an unkind word about Scott before.
I mean I know she doesn’t like him due to what happened with Tyler, but she was never actually unkind to him. We didn’t have time for this, either. So maybe for now I'll just work around everyone’s apparent dislike of our Elder.
“What would you like me to do about that package, then?” I looked over at Destiny as she spoke, giving me a compassionate smile. Being a leader herself she had to know how hard moments like these were.
“Is there any possible way you can hold it for us until Monday?” I asked hesitantly and she nodded while answering, “Of course.” It was a short answer
