(Alex’s POV)
Training this morning was so hard. I didn’t get much sleep last night because the twins have apparently decided that nighttime was awake time. I swear, every time we put one down to sleep, the other would suddenly be wide awake. April and I wound up taking turns trying to get some rest, so every time Autumn fell asleep, April would get to close her eyes, and every time Castor would fall asleep I’d get a little rest.
Finally, about three hours before my alarm went off for training, they both fell asleep and April and I weren’t long after them. Her Mom had them both while we went down for training. April isn’t allowed back yet but Doc said she could do some light stretching. After that, she disappeared somewhere and left us to train in the bitter cold and snow.
