(April’s POV) “So? …You’re a prehistoric panther. Didn’t see that one coming.” I laughed. My little kitten apparently took offense to my comment, though, because she gave me an annoyed huff and puffed herself up like a proud peacock, then pranced around on the rocks with agile grace showing off her fur. I laughed again and shook my head. “Yeah, yeah. I get it. My beautiful little tigress” I cooed as I grabbed her and nuzzled her neck before softly saying “Thank you, Sparks. That wolf would've killed and eaten me for lunch if it weren’t for you.” She huffed again, apparently disagreeing with me.
