I was still considering Austin’s points when Alex asked, “What’s your idea, Jer?” Jeremy stepped up to the table and motioned to a more remote area on the other side of town. It was actually much closer to our pack than Black Blood, which made me curious why Jer thought they might be there.
“So I worked with their pattern, everything was in twenty minute intervals or a multiple of it. For example, the first two attacks were twenty minutes from their own packs but they were also twenty minutes apart. April and I had noticed it had nothing to do with departure times, either. If you’ll notice two packs leaving here actually left and made stops before hitting the ambush site. It’s the site that is the twenty minute mark. Not the actual time.
