Breaking this news to Mason, Austin, and Conner is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I grew up seeing Mason almost as an Uncle. I was always over at their house and going places with them. Me, them, and Jake were practically inseparable. We had a brotherhood that was unbreakable. So I knew Mason mourns after his mate, even to this day. It’s probably why he’s so reluctant to give Fate a chance. Not that he’s ever very far from her, either.
