At exactly 6:30pm I stood outside April's door and took a deep, steadying, breath. I’m not really used to being nervous with girls but this was sorta our first date. I mean, I know it’s not a real date because it’s a pack event but she’ll be on my arm for the first time and, if I’m being honest, that concept scares the h*ll outta me.
Everyone'll know after tonight that we’re together, which I’m elated about, but it'll also make her a target both to some of the she-wolves and some of the other Alpha’s. A lot of Alpha's take it as a challenge to be the one to hook up with the most beautiful girl in the room. And that's going to be my girl. So I’ll have my hands full.
