(Alex's POV)
After dinner we all headed over to the conference room figuring we’d just wait there until the meeting, which was set to begin in about twenty minutes. While we were waiting, April told us she had told Elder Leo everything this morning and that he was going to do research in the council archives.
I can’t say I was thrilled she told him everything, but I don’t think Elder Leo would betray us, either. I trust him, and knowing April and Raine trust him too makes me feel better about him knowing. Besides, after the meeting, tonight, is when Crystal’s transition is set for, so we really don’t need an angry Elder in the way right now.
