(Alex’s POV)
It’s been three days since we found Leo. I wish I could say he’s gotten better, but he hasn’t. Doc Helena has now advised Destiny to take him off life support. She said his brain functions are shutting down slowly. He’s actually crashed twice, both times within the first twenty-four hours. They were able to revive him but the internal damage has just been too much for his body to handle.
I know he wouldn’t want to be kept alive this way, but we can’t get April to let go. When Destiny made the hard decision to take him off life support, April used her royal command on everyone to stop them from complying. Even Destiny couldn’t go against her.
