(April’s POV)
When he took my hand, my heart started to thump so hard I thought it would thump right out of my chest. The way he'd been looking at me left me both speechless as well as breathless and now my heart was beating a mile a minute. He looked absolutely gorgeous in his perfectly fitted suit that was pressed to perfection.
He was wearing a black suit with black tie and black, polished shoes. The shirt was a light green, and it brought out his eyes perfectly. His hair was slicked back and drawn into a warrior's braid which hung down to just past his shoulders. He was clean shaved except for his perfectly manicured goatee. When he smiled at me, I almost melted right there in the hall. I knew I was long gone. He was it for me. There would never be any other.
