(Winter’s POV)
This is so awesome! I can’t believe our mates and family did this for us. It was now only a few minutes till midnight. Mom and Aunt Lilly were gathering everyone outside. They and the guys were passing out these odd paper balloon-like things with candles inside them. I was standing with Bethany, April, and Alex while eyeing the contraption and noticed April didn’t seem to have any clue how these things worked either.
Alex was chuckling at her as he tried to help her sort hers while she giggled at his attempts. It wasn’t until Mom came over and said, “Here, let me help before we wind up sending the two of you floating off into the night sky too.” We all laughed at that comment.
Dad came over to help me and Bethany sort ours just as Aunt Lilly was saying, “Okay everyone.
