Fallon's Rise

FALLON POV: I'm an alpha but because I'm a female other alphas look down on me. I always knew that I was different I just didn't know what that difference was. I'm one of the youngest alphas there are but unfortunately due to things that happened in the past at my parents pack I had to go into hiding, so in truth, no one knows I'm an alpha, and it may sound crazy but I kind of like it as I'm not treated differently from the rest. Anyway, the names Fallon Lycan, I'm 17 (it was my birthday yesterday) and I go to Moonlight High. It's a school for all supernatural beings, werewolf, vampires, shifters, whiches, you name it, it will be there. the only problem with us all being under the same roof is we all like showing who is best, there's a lot of fights. Especially between leaders of covens and packs, it's a lot of tension. One of the many, many reasons I stay quiet, hidden and to myself. Oh, I just realized I haven't introduced you to my other half, and no not my mate, my wolf and the other one. My wolf is called Alina and the other one I'll introduce you guys later but for now, she's called Pheonix. We are back at school tomorrow after having a half-term break, I am far from looking forward to it but never mind. For those of you wondering, I live alone yes but I am part of a pack I just hardly interact with them. Which is fine by me as they barely even know I exist. It's Monday, a new day, a new term, but it is slightly different today because I'm 17 now I'm able to find my mate meaning Alina and Phenix are going to be on edge all day searching for him. Nothing has changed at school apart from a few walls being painted and lockers being added, I guess we have new people. I did my usual walk to my locker, I put my bag away and grabbed my books for first period. I closed my locker to be met with Leona's face. Leona is the head girl, she's a lovely girl but pesters me way too much. "What do you want Leona?" I asked with no effort. "I was wondering if you were going to sign up for the fight classes this term" She replied smiling happily at her answer. "You know Fallon we should, you know we are a good fighter maybe we could just get some extra practice. You know just in case they come back." My wolf Alina voiced in our link. "We could but that means interacting," I said back. "Come on Fallon, we are going to have to interact with others at some point" Alina linked. "Plus it will only be for 3 hours" Pheonix tuned in. "Yeah, 3 hours of agony" I sarcastically told them. When I noticed Leona looking at me with pleading eyes to come back and answer her I blocked the voices out and answered. "Ugh ok fine. Yes I'll join this term" "Yes!" She screamed in joy. "Okay for starters calm down or I'll take that statement back and two I'm doing this for practice only," I said clearly back at her. "Okay done and done, see you after school tomorrow on the field then," She said turning around and walking off. The bell then rung for first lesson. I made my way in and sat at my usual desk in the corner at the back of the room next to the window. I had maths first with Mrs. Taylor, although I was good at maths I hated sitting in her lesson listening to her blabber on and on. The good thing about being quiet and at the back is that I never get called out on to answer a question. I try to not talk unless I'm bored of people guessing the answer wrong, which seems like a lot these days. I think people realize that don't need to do anything because they know I will answer eventually. anyway, nothing happened second or third. Forth went by smoothly too, apart from having a new girl in the class everything was the same old boring. It was lunchtime, so I made my way to the canteen. Busy as always. The higher up people trying to cut in at the front, the omegas being pushed out to the back and the wannabes sucking up to the populars. I grabbed my lunch and went to my usual table, yes I'm that sad that I sit on my own. I got out my drawing book I grabbed on my way here and started to sketch in it. I was drawing a beautiful big wolf. "Speaking of wolf when can I go for a run" Alina questioned me. Due to going into hiding, I haven't been able to let her run as much as we used to, it makes her cranky. "Hey, that is not true!" She yelped back at me. "Sure it doesn't" Pheonix piped up. I just laughed at the bickering at each other. You might think it's annoying having two voices but in all honesty, I couldn't be without them. I do get headaches a lot though which is annoying but part of what I need to put up with. "So what are we doing later?" Pheonix asked. "I don't know probably what we do every day after school," I said back. "But it's boring though" She moaned back. "Well not my fault, it keeps us safe" I stated. Just then one of the wannabes came up beside me, "great" I murmured. most of the wannabe girls are sluts and would sleep with anyone and same goes for the guys, they're all in it for s*x, one of the reasons I don't like them. That and they are super annoying. "Hey loser you listening to me," The girl said. "Sorry, what were you saying" I answered. "Do I need to waste my breath on you. I said are you the one that's been trying to get with my guy" This girl can't be serious I thought, another thing you can add to reasons I don't like them is they make up rumors for no reason just to get a fight out of it to look cool. Which by the way they don't look cool. I had tuned out again as she rambled on about how he was hers and all this. By the time I tuned back in people were staring at us. I just rolled my eyes, which she must have caught because she raised her voice. "Oi don't you roll your eyes at me, I'm a higher rank than you, respect me when I'm talking to you!" She yelled. I scoffed and said "Yeah sure" She clearly didn't like that because the next thing I knew she had slapped me across the face which made every head in the canteen turn towards us. Including the alphas, betas and coven leaders. I just shook it off, "I'm sorry I don't get why you have the need of slapping me" I questioned the girl. It was her turn to scoff "Like I said I'm higher than you, making me not need a reason" God I hate rankings, even though I know I'm higher in rank I hate them for this reason, she thinks she can do what she wants because shes 'higher' than me. "Watch it little girl" Alina decided to come and play. "Alina, what do you think you're doing?" I asked in the link between us. "Just having a bit of fun with the brat" She smirked at me. "She needs some manners," Pheonix said. "Don't you think that's a bad idea when we are in front of everyone?" I asked another question, but neither answered. "Oh, why? What are you going to do about it?" The annoying wanna be acted up again. "You don't want to know," Alina said back. Flashing hers and Pheonix's eyes at the girl. By the look on the girl's face, she was afraid because she immediately backed away. While those two smiled and laughed at her reaction. I didn't miss a beat to get out of there. I turned and ran out the canteen doors going straight to my locker to get my bag for gym class. I sat my bag down on the bench as I opened my locker to put my ordinary clothes inside and change into my gym wear. I had a matching sports bra and running trousers. I put everything else away and shut my locker, making my way out onto the field. I had a head start from the rest of the class so I started my stretches early waiting for everyone else to turn up. Unfortunately at the time of my class, we share the field with the football team, so we are always on the track that surrounds the field. I had just finished my stretches when everyone from my class and the football team came out of the locker roos and joined me on the field. "Alright class!" The teacher shouted to get everyone's attention. "I want you to do your stretches and then 10 laps around the field" He continued. Due to our abilities doing 3 laps would be pointless, it's too easy. Even 10 laps for me is easy. With that being said I set off on my first lap around the track. Most of the girls go slow to check out the football team members but most of them are too busy to even notice them unless you're oh so popular people, aka players. I was on my 8th lap when I suddenly heard a scream of a guy saying "WATCH OUT!!" With that, I saw the ball coming straight at me. I didn't have time to think, I just acted. I dodged it by bending backward in a limbo move. Pivoting around in place, I followed the ball with my gaze, seeing it go into the woods. Me being me, I went after the ball so I could hand it back. I ran off into the woods where I saw the ball go, once I found it I bent down to get it when I heard a growl. Automatically putting me on alert and in defense mood. That's when I saw about five different pairs of eyes all staring at me with hatred, I knew as soon as I smelt the air they were rouges. I stood in place staring at them listening to the others on the field asking if I had found it, it was only when one of the rouges moved forward that I snapped back into reality focusing on them again. I knew I was faster than them so I turned around as quick as I could and ran onto the filled screaming "ROUGES!!" As I said that the rouges came running out growling sending the girls on the track into panic and the guys on alert, growling, and glaring back. This was it, it was a battle of the territory now. Shockingly no one on the field moved, I looked around wounder why and that's when I saw the coven leaders and Alphas all walkout. Someone must have mind licked them. I stood still looking at the Alphas not being aware that I was in the middle of both the football team and the rouges. That was until I saw the leaders stop and felt a presence behind me. Slowly turning around I was faced with the empty orange eyes of this rouge, god they smell I thought to myself. I felt someone trying to mind link me so I obliged at letting them in, good thing really it was my Alpha. "Don't make any sudden movements ok" He linked. I didn't reply which made him continue. "I need you to take a few steps back. Slowly" He said. But I still didn't answer. I didn't move either, to which he tried mind linking me again but I just shut it off again, blocking him from talking to me. I could tell he was annoyed by the growl I heard from behind. I took a deep breath as my eyes changed colour, I saw the shock on the rouges face as I pushed my self into his mind. "Turn around and go back to the hole you crawled out of before I change my mind and kill you" I growled in his head, his eyes widening more. I could feel eyes watching me from behind, clearly wondering why this rouge was suddenly shaking in fear, but I pushed it to the side ignoring it and carrying on with my mind games on this filthy dog. "H..how are you doing that" he stuttered. "That's for me to know" I smirked back. I flashed my eyes brighter than before as he backed up, going back in line with the others. "Get out of here and never come back!" I growled in all of their minds, again flashing my eyes. With that, they ran off with their tails between their legs. I didn't want to turn around because I knew everyone's eyes were on me at this point. But I did, but walking straight up to the leaders and smirking. I stood in front of them waiting for someone to speak. "I told you to back away!" My alpha yelled at me, but his eyes held concern. The air felt weird, I could feel Alina and Pheonix being restless too. I smelt the air one more time when this intoxicating smelt hit me like a ton of bricks. He felt it too, it was written over his face. "Mate" We whispered in sync. Damn, today has been hectic I laughed at my thought, for someone usually somewhat invisible and trying to hide sure has put themself out there today. I freaked out and walked of passed them, ignoring the glares and stares but more importantly him. I wasn't ready to be questioned by everyone let alone talk to my mate. Wyatt POV: Let me introduce my self quickly. Hi, I'm Wyatt I'm the next Alpha of the Moonlight Pack. I'm 18, I go to Moonlight High. My future Beta is Reid and my future Delta is Jason, they are both good friends of mine. I also have a younger brother, Blaze, who is 5. I think that is everything, but we'll see. I had mind linked the girl that was face to face with the rouge to back away but she ignored me, me her alpha! I wasn't happy with the disrespect but I didn't have time to dwell on that, this girl could be killed in a second. I tried to mind link her again but I couldn't get through. Impossible I thought, I'm an alpha I should be able to link her, but it was like she had blocked it. I just watched from afar not being able to do anything when she's that close. I watched as they stared at each other not saying anything. Then seeing the shock horror on his face. It made me wonder what she did to create such a look. Before I knew it they were running off back into the safety of the woods with their tails hung low.  "Wow," My wolf whispered in my mind. I was in shock, I didn't know what she did but I wanted to find out. She was walking towards us and soon stopped in front of us. I looked at her from head to toe something was off I could feel it so could my wolf. However, I couldn't put my finger on it. Instead, I pushed it to the side and yelled at her. but for some reason, my expression didn't match what I was saying, I could tell by the way she looked at me. I saw her eyes go foggy, clearly talking to her wolf, I think anyway. That's when it hit me, the intoxicating smell of roses and fresh rainwater. "Mate" We both whispered. I was about to say more but she walked past me.  "What just happened," I asked my wolf. "I don't know, she said that we are mates," He said back. "Yeah exactly so why did she walk off?" I questioned again but got a shrug in response. Yeah, helpful. I can't believe it she just walked off. I don't even know her name. Come to think of it, how have I never noticed her before, she's in my pack for crying out loud. With that everyone else had gone back to what they were doing before, but I was confused, conflicted, hurt even. I wasn't sure what to do with myself.  "I'm sorry Kai, mates going to having to wait a little longer," I said sadly to my wolf, which earned me a moan back from him. "We have the training to sort out for tomorrow, you never know maybe she'll be there," I said to Kai with hope in my voice.
