Episode 6: The First Shadow Brittany couldn’t ignore the feeling any longer. The streets no longer felt like hers. Every flickering streetlight, every quiet alleyway whispered that she was being watched. Her confidence wavered. She moved faster, shoulders tight, eyes scanning every reflection. Tonight, she wasn’t just cautious. She was aware. Lucifer knew it. From the shadows, the hood hiding his face, he followed her silently, every muscle tense but controlled. No sudden movements. No mistakes. Watching her, studying her reactions, noting every glance she threw over her shoulder. Brittany stopped at a street corner, glancing behind her again. Nothing. Just the empty street stretching into darkness. Her pulse was racing. She shook her head, trying to convince herself she was imagining it. But the sense of being followed, of being observed, would not leave. Lucifer took another step forward, careful not to make a sound. Close enough to feel the tension radiating off her, far enough to remain invisible. He wanted her to feel the shadow before she ever saw him. Brittany pulled her jacket tighter and walked faster. Across the street, he mirrored her pace, perfect synchronization. Tonight, she felt it. The brush of danger. The edge of something unseen. She didn’t know it yet, but he had stepped closer than ever. And soon, Brittany would realize: the shadow that followed her was not just a feeling. It was real. And it would not leave.
