We Must Hurry

The time was getting early in the morning. They must leave the White Tower immediately. They have to be fast because at 06 am the guards will switch their shifts.

Eventually, Jim and Eliza who were carried on his back had stepped on the stairs going down to the fifth floor. Jill heard the heavy footsteps of someone coming down the stairs.

Jill whispered to Gristie. "Someone's coming". They slowly stood up with their weapons. They were prepared to fight whoever the enemy would come even though their condition was actually not ready to fight again.

With a heavy breath, Jim slowly stepped off his feet. Until he arrived on the fifth floor. When Jill and Gristie found out that it was Jim, they took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. They looked so relieved. It turned out that those heavy steps were Jim's. With great relief, Gristie said, "ah ... It's you, Jim. You're making me tense". As Gristie put her sword back on.

So did Jill. She seemed both relieved and happy. She said, "brother? Thank God you're still safe". Then Jim also felt relieved, his little sister and Gristie were fine, but he also felt anxious because he saw Neil who was passed out right not far from them. Jim gave the bluestone and heal potions each to Jill and Gristie. Then gristie seems a little confused, he asks "what kind of potion is this? Can it be of any use? For this bluestone, I already know its function, but for this option, it's my first time seeing it"

With a smile, Jill interrupted Gristie's words "aha, I remember, this potion is very effective, you used to give this to me, and my wound was instantly healed".

Gristie was amazed, she asked "really? Are you sure?". Jim knows that Gristie is also injured, he can see that her arms are wrapped in bandages. He also said. "Gris, you better use the potion for yourself first".

Without asking the slightest, Gristie did what Jim said. She also took a sip of the healing potion in one gulp. And immediately, Gristie's wound was getting better and better, and he slowly felt no more pain. Gristie was amazed and she said, "wow, it's hard to believe, my wound is healed".

Jim also smiled, he continued to say "all right, now let's give the heal potion to Eliza and Neil". Gristie lifted Eliza's head a little, so did Jill, she also raised Neil's head. Then the two of them simultaneously gave Eliza and Neil heal potions.

It could be seen that the conditions of the wounds on Neil and Eliza's bodies were slowly improving from before. Jim said "alright, now break the bluestone on them"

But Jill looked confused, then she asked Jim, "how?". Jim replied "just help them break the stone. Give me the stone, Gris." Then Gristie gave Jim the bluestone she was holding. Then Jim gave Jill an example of how to use bluestone. Jim put the bluestone into Eliza's palm, then he helped Eliza's palm grasp the bluestone and helped squeeze it until it shattered into pieces. And finally, the mana that came out of the stone was absorbed into Eliza's body.

Jill seemed to understand what Jim was instructing. She immediately practised what she had just seen. She placed the bluestone on Neil's palm, and she helped to grasp it until it broke. And it worked, everything stored in the bluestone was slowly being absorbed by Neil's body. Jill also looked happy, she smiled. Jill was so relieved.

A few minutes passed, Eliza and Neil who was previously unconscious, now they can slowly open their eyes again, they slowly come to their senses. Even they didn't feel any pain due to the wounds they had received.

Neil was now no longer closed, no longer the darkness he saw. The first thing he saw was a cute smile from Jill. He also tried to move his body. He slowly woke up from his sleep. Jill excitedly said, "thank goodness Neil, you're doing great."

Likewise with Eliza, after she regained consciousness, she woke up from her sleep, sitting on his back legs, she saw Gristie right in front of her. She doesn't know what happened to her. Suddenly, Gristie embraces Eliza from the front. She was so happy, he even shed tears. With a stammering voice full of joy, she said "thank goodness, I can see you again. you're still alive, I'm so happy".

Then Gristie let go of her hug, Eliza confusedly, She asked Gristie, "Gristie, what are you doing here?". Then Gristie replied, "Calm down Eliza, you are free now".

Then Eliza looked around, she saw some people she didn't even know before. She also asked Gristie, she said "Gristie, who are they?"

Gristie also replied, "They are our allies, those who have saved you from this prison".Hearing that, Eliza seemed to be a little relieved.

Jim suddenly stood up, he looked in a hurry. He said, "alright, now that you are all fine, we better get out of here". Jim stretched out his right hand towards Eliza, then he continued saying. "You can walk alone, right?". Then Eliza also received Jim's helping hand. She also took Jim's hand, then she stood up, as well as Gristie, she also stood up. Not to forget Neil and Jill, the two of them also stood up as well.

Jim also moved first to the front. He led the way of this group. Eliza and Gristie followed behind him, while Neil and Jill were in the very back row. They walked slowly down the stairs and with careful footsteps. They tried to get out of this white tower prison.

Eliza felt confused about what happened, she saw around the many corpses of the guards scattered about, but she still followed Jim's footsteps in front of her without asking anything.

They have now managed to get out of the white tower. They have arrived at the gate of the white tower. Blackish orange sky greeted them. The sun has begun to appear from the eastern horizon. This indicates that soon the tower guard will change shifts.

To be on the safe side, Jim thought about buying something at his system shop. He also opened the system window.

Jim bought five outfits in the usual Hodie robes, some of which were black, dark brown and dark green. After he managed to buy it, the robe immediately appeared in Jim's hand. They all immediately put on the robe. Eliza in her black robe, Gristie and Neil in their dark green robes, and Jim and Jill in their brown robes. After they finished wearing their robes, Jim said hastily. "All right, now we have to hurry back to the inn. They seemed to understand, so they headed off to the inn. Fortunately, the town is still quiet, only a few traders are seen carrying their wares to be sold at the market.

"Okay, I'll go", Jim also opened the door to his room, simultaneously, in the next room there was someone who was also opening the door. It turned out to be Jill.

Out of curiosity, Jim asked Jill, "where are you going?". Jill replied casually, "I'm going to the market to buy some bread and peanut butter for breakfast. Where are you going?" Jim also answered, "I'm going to find some horses".

Jill quickly asked Jim, She said "let me come with you". Then Jim was actually a bit hesitant, he then asked "doesn't this inn provide food too?"

Then Jill replied, "I hope so, but this inn only sells food at dinner only". Jim was still adamant that Jill didn't have to leave the inn first, because of what they had done last night, Jim was worried if something happened.

Jim tried to persuade Jill not to come, said "you better not leave the inn first, let me buy the bread, it will be very dangerous if you wander out".

But Jill still insisted on going out with Jim, then she said "I must be safe, right, there is a brother beside me, after all, we haven't been walking together in the morning since you were assigned to guard the Gorgon fortress".

Jim could only sigh. Finally, they both got out of the inn and went to the market.

They also arrived at a market, although the market was not very big, many people were passing by. Their first destination is a bakery. They also bought some bread and jam for breakfast and supplies for the trip.

However, before leaving the baker's place, Jim asked the seller. "Mom, may I know where the horse seller is?". The sales lady replied innocently. "Oh young man, if you want to buy a horse, go west of this market. There are ranches of various animals, you will find horses there."

Jim also bent down, and he thanked the seller's mother. Shortly after that, Jim and Jill immediately headed west. They looked for a horse-selling place according to the information provided by the baker's mother.

finally, they arrived at the ranch. They immediately went to the small house around. And without further ado, they immediately started their intention to buy some horses.

They also managed to complete all the business. Finally, they went back to the inn. Jill brought some food, while Jim led two horses.

When in the middle of the journey. The two of them passed several men who were talking about something. It seems that some of the men are residents of the town of Saarlen. But that's not what makes Jim and Jill notice them. However, it was their conversation that caught Jill and Jim intrigued. How could it not be, that group of men already knew the true situation that happened in the white tower prison.

Without thinking, Jim tried to join the men. Naively, Jim asked, "excuse me, can I know, I wonder what happened".

A bald-haired middle-aged man answered Jim's question, he said "don't you know? Last night, the prisoners of the White Tower prison managed to escape, and they also killed some of the tower guards. The news has spread widely in this town"

With his pretence, Jim asked again to get more information, he said: "what? How terrible. I just found out, then who can escape from the white tower prison? Because it's so impossible".

Then the bald man replied again "according to the rumours, last night a group of Vitelyn rebels surrendered the prison because the boss had been held in that prison. They said the group was so strong."

Hearing the answer of the bald man, like Jim was so relieved and happy. He muttered "great, keep spreading the rumours". Then Jim asked again, "Then how is the response from the Prusiudeus kingdom?"

Then this bald man replied, "there has been no official order from the Prusiudeus kingdom, but the few remaining guards they are looking for fugitives who fled around the tower and this town".

Then Jim ended this conversation, he said "thanks uncle, then we'll go". After that, the two of them slowly returned to the inn. But Jim seemed to be in a hurry. then he said to Jill "we must quickly leave this town before Prusiudeus's royal army comes."

Jill also knows about it, but what makes her feel odd is about the rebels from Vitelyn. With great curiosity, he asked Jim. "Brother, what do they mean about the Vitelyn rebels?".

Jim also answered, "the rebels are Neil, maybe Neil is their boss, so the guards think we are a group of Vitelyn rebels. But this is good for us. Because the guards will not suspect us at this time".

Jill was surprised to hear Jim's answer because she just found out that Neil was someone who was a rebel, even more, so there was the possibility that he was the boss. Finally, they rushed back to the inn.
