I drove her back home and made sure to help her tug the kids in their various beds. Luke went back to sleep immediately his head hit the pillow while Levi was demanding for his mom but also slept off afterward. I avoided glancing toward Landon’s empty bed, getting out of the room as snappy as I could.
Unlike the kids who were easy to lay down and get to sleep, Terra was a tough one to handle and it took a lot of convincing from my side to get her to even take a seat on the couch. I make sure to provide her with a glass of wine and cover up the rest knowing she will resolve to it when she finishes the one I gave her.
