Blurb

Harry Troy, an arrogant and brutish businessman who got drunk during a trip and gambled his entire fortune to win billions had his money sent to his ex-girlfriend's account.

He hated her for sleeping with his best friend and he did not want anything to do with her but he needed his money. His only option was to get into a contract marriage with the waitress who was pregnant for him to keep his ex at bay but even that did not work because she wanted to be his second wife as well.

This led to a series of dramas which stemmed from a night in Vegas. A night he should have avoided getting drunk in.

Ariana’s POV “Let’s go, let’s go!” a man yelled, tossing his dice ready to bet his life on the table that he was going to win his money back. He had bet his car and his house on the premise that he was going to win his money back. He was hundred percent sure that no matter what would happen he would be rich by the end of the day. I had no idea who he was but he wanted me around him to serve him drinks and stroke his ego. “Sir, are you sure about this?” the server asked, still skeptical about calling out the numbers. The man whose name I learned was Harry took a drink which was offered to him by a sexy waitress whom he slapped her butt before turning back to the table. He was crude but I didn’t mind. I had seen worse in the casino. “I am a billionaire. I can do whatever I want. Now call out my number and let me see my wins.” The server shrugged, opening the cards to call it out and stuttered. Everyone looked at him expecting his response and that was what he gave. “Apparently Mr Harry over here has gotten two times richer,” he said, getting groans around the table with only Harry laughing and clapping. “I told you all I would win! Rounds of drinks for everyone. How do I get my money?” “You’ll need to get to the cashier and cash it out to your bank.” “Noted, let’s go love,” the billionaire said to me, walking to the cashier while I supported his weight with my body while we walked. He looked at me and smiled with a little hiccup. “What is your name?” “Ariana,” I smiled. “Ariana, a lovely name. I love the way it rolls on my tongue when I say it. Apparently you want to have some fun later tonight.” I nodded with a smile. He really was drunk. We reached the cashier as the woman behind the table stood to attend to us. “Well, well, well,” someone said across the table. “If it isn’t the heartbreaker himself here to ruin my day.” Harry looked at the woman who had spoken and broke into laughter. “Hey, everyone, it’s my ex, Queen. I thought we broke up.” “Two months ago and I have been looking for you. You can’t just ditch me and…” “It’s over queen. Go get a life. I’m too rich for you and too…” he belched. “Are you drunk?” she was amused that he was still standing. Her eyes fell on me as she eyed before turning back to the man. “If you’re not too busy I can take up the offer to take you home. Just take me back and we’ll call this even.” “You cheap w***e. Not after you cheated with my friend. I will never accept you back.” “Harry, I already apologized a million times.” “Your apologies are no good. No one cheats on me and gets away scot free. No one cheats on Harry and gets to live and tell the tale. I refuse. You will…” “Sir!” the cashier called his attention. “Why are you interrupting me?” the billionaire hiccuped. He was causing a scene in the club but no one could say anything to him because he was richer than anyone out there and he could easily destroy them without breaking a sweat. “We need your bank account details.” He nodded, taking up a pen and paper to write down his details but he could not see anything clearly for he was drunk. “I know his details,” Queen took the pen from him, offering to write it down as he pushed her away. “No! I want nothing to do with you.” “Oh quit your yapping and let me help you. When I am done here I’ll be out of your hair.” She wrote down his details as the cashier clacked on her computer. “Baby, I’m still here for you and I apologize. Please forgive me already. What more can I do to make you see that I’ve changed?” “How about you die, Queen? How about it? You broke my heart when you left me for my best friend.” “I did not leave you, it was a one night stand.” “You slept with my best friend. After everything I gave to you. All I did for you and you paid me back this way. The nerve you have is astounding and I don’t want that again. Just leave me alone.” Queen pointed to me by his side. “So you would rather stay with this w***e than be with me?” I found that offensive but I could not do anything as I was only a worker and I did not want to lose my job. “At least the w***e is helping me stand on my feet. What are you doing for me except bringing me heartache.” “You don’t want to do this to me, Harry. I can be deadly if I want to.” “Is that a threat? I can sense a threat when I see one.” “Trust me, you won’t like me later on.” “Get lost, loose girl. I would rather die than have anything to do with you.” Queen walked up to slap Harry as I caught her hand midair. “I would refrain from doing that if I were you,” I growled to her, giving a nod to a group of bodyguards in suits who had their eyes on the exchange and were ready to bounce if the need arose for it. They were Harry’s bodyguards. “Fine,” the woman pulled her hand in anger. “But if anything happens and he’s ready to make a deal, tell him that he knows where to find me.” With that, Queen walked out of the club with an evil smile on her face. I found this suspicious but knew it was not my place to do anything. The man hugged me even tighter before kissing my cheek. “Sir, your assets have been successfully sent to this account and you should have a wonderful time enjoying your winnings,” the cashier said. “Of course I will,” he smiled walking to the lobby of the club as a bodyguard took us to a room, opening it for us to get into. Harry fell on the bed as he kissed me. I did not resist him as we removed our clothes and made love to each other. It lasted for a few minutes but it was bliss for us both. It was a casino. There were no rules against having s*x with a client, besides, I needed this to get the edge off my mind.
