The hall was suddenly chilly as Lola walked through them.
“It was me,” Prince Ronald shouted right when Lola stopped next to his son. “He had nothing to do with this,” he added.
“Is that true, Francis?”
Francis knew by the fact that Lola knew his name that she already knew everything.
He shook his head and confessed before going to kneel next to his father.
Now Sir Henry was shaking and cursing nonstop. He could guess what was coming when Lola’s blazing eyes landed on him.
“Now we are making progress. Who knew that Ronald and his son had won over the king’s guards? Who incited dummy Mike to open a case in order for my husband and I to be summoned here?”
Sir Henry did not wait for Lola to complete her words. He joined his best friend in front while everyone gasped at it all.
