King Dante listened to all the evidence brought to him. Mike seemed to be the mastermind behind Shane’s shooting. The phone calls and bank transactions to the king’s dead sniper guards all pointed to him. Even the blackmailing of nurse Cecelia who tried to finish off Shane, k********g and killing the nurse’s mother, all pointed to him.
Sir Mike and his whole family had no words. They were as good as dead with all that evidence. The king did not even need the court to pass his judgement. Shane is the Duke, not to mention that attempting to kill him indirectly meant attempting to kill the king as well.
