After my hot make out sessions with Connor, I asked him if we could meet up with Jeni and her mate. He seemed a little nervous about going, but he smiled and agreed. I texted Jeni and we decided to meet up tonight at this beautiful restaurant about 15 minutes from the Japanese restaurant. Her mate had suggested that place, but I quickly reminded her what happened there. She apologized like 15 times for even bringing it up, and then we agreed on a Brazilian steakhouse. I searched the place and my eyes went wide. The ambiance and the price was something I've never experienced before. "Connor, this place is too expensive... and I don't have clothes this fancy. I just don't have this kind of money. I'm going to text Jeni to find a new place." I said woefully. I did really want to go there. Connor c**ked his head. "My Queen, do you not think that we can afford such a place?" I thought about it for a moment. "Well of course you can, but I can't... I'm not using your money on those types of things. I could never ask you to pay that kind of bill." I said shyly. He came over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "It is OUR money, my Queen. You are my mate. A Luna. A Queen. My Queen. My money is ours. And if for a second you think I would not spoil you with every dime I have you are mistaken." he smiles beautifully. Goddess, save me from this gorgeous man. He pulls back and reaches into his pocket. He takes out his wallet and hands me a credit card. "This will have to do until we get home and I can get you a proper one with your name. Take my car and go to the store in the morning. I will tell Adam, my driver, to take you wherever your beautiful heart desires." He smiled lovingly. "This is too much.. you don't have to do this." I mumbled. He growled at me and I looked into his eyes. "Do not second guess what I do for you, my Queen. I will do anything to see your smile." and with that I saw him mindlink Adam. "Car is ready first thing in the morning for you, beautiful,." He planted a kiss on my head. I snuggled back into his chest where I awoke and fell into a blissful sleep.

I awoke in the morning to the feeling of Connor staring at me. "My queen, how did you sleep?" he inquired. I thought about it for a moment. I hadn't slept this good in months. I felt great. "Pretty good actually!" I laughed. He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Good because Adam is waiting for you! Get going beautiful!" He picked me up out of bed and carried me to the bathroom. I tried to get ready but he was all over me. I quickly fixed my hair and used the bathroom. We left the room and he walked me to the packhouse entrance.

I walked out to the car and the driver had the door open. "Good morning Luna. My name is Adam and I'll be driving you today." I smiled courteously. "Please call me Ararsi. No need for formalities!" He nodded his head. "So Ararsi, where would you like to go?" I paused a moment and thought about it. "There's a little boutique in the city. On the corner of 34th and 2nd." He smiled in the mirror. "Say no more. I know that boutique. Buckle up Lu.. I mean Ararsi." I smiled, buckled my seat belt, and looked as the packhouse became a distant memory and the trees were flying by.

*Connor*

After I had sent Ararsi shopping for our apparent double date, I went to find Alpha Mark. I had not seen him since the day in the office, and I want to know what to do about his pathetic mutt of a son. I felt like he may have been avoiding me. I linked my beta, Jackson, who had been staying at one of the houses on the packlands. Since our arrival, I haven't seen him much either. I mindlinked him after I found Ararsi that I found my mate and to leave me be. Of course as the obedient beta he is, I have not heard from him.

"Jackson, I need help man." I said through mindlink.

"Hey Connor, long time no talk. Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, but I need you to help me locate Alpha Mark. If you find him, bring him to his office. Link me, and I'll do the same if I find him." there was a pause in the link.

"Got it." he replied.

"Oh and if you see his son, you have my permission to beat the living s**t out of him. Drag him here after." I added before the link was cut.

"Do I want to know?... I'll go find him." and the link cut.

I head to the Alphas office just in case Jackson found him. I walked around the floor hoping I could get a whiff of his scent. When that was in vain, I headed down the staircase. I caught a faint whiff on the first floor. That's odd. He doesn't normally go down here from what Ararsi told me. I followed the scent and it lead me towards her room. I quickened my pace and ran to her room. I could hear someone inside and I knew it was not her. I could hear faint whispering. I pushed the door open and there was Alpha Mark, and his son. A loud growl escaped my lips. I immediately mind link my beta as the fear is evident on their faces. That mutt of a son is standing in only boxers and my eyes start flashing black. What the hell were they doing in my mates room? Alpha Mark steps forward, "Your highness, I promise I can explain." I hear my beta rush into the room, a powerful growl rumbles from my chest. "Yes Alpha. You better have a good explanation as to why you and your son are in my mates room." My powerful voice makes them both cower. "Yes your highness. I was coming down from my office to grab a coffee from the kitchen. I smelled my son and I wanted to talk with him about what happened the other day. I followed his scent and I found him in here. I simply came in to ask him to leave the room and to come to my office." he bowed his head in submission and frustration.

My eyes darted to Kyle. That pathetic mutt couldn't even look at me. His very presence disgusted me. My wolf could rip him into shreds right now if I would let him, part of me wanted him to. My eyes were digging into him like a sword. "Speak Kyle. Why are you in my mates room, dressed like that." I demanded. His eyes darted to mine and he took 2 steps forward. I lifted one eyebrow in confusion. "Is this pup trying to intimidate me?" Jeremiah laughed hard in my head. A sinister smile crossed his lips. "I came in here to claim her as my own. It's such a shame she wasn't here. I could have been done mating with her by the time you showed up here."

My eyes went black. That was it. Jeremiah took over and lunged at Kyle. He grabbed him quicker then he could react. Lycan speed is such a gift sometimes. I held him by his neck, on the verge of breaking it. "What did you say pup?! How dare you threaten mate! My Queen, and your queen!" Jeremiah's grip tightened around his neck. I could see a blue hue on his cheeks and he was clearly struggling to breathe. I was so preoccupied with my anger, that the cries of Alpha Mark finally became audible. "Please your highness, please spare him! Please! We will punish him accordingly, but please do not kill him!!" He pleaded with me. It was pretty hard to reason with Jeremiah. He finally let me have some control back. "Alpha, you do realize the punishment for threatening a queen is death right?" I could see the color drain from the Alpha's face. He looked frantically at his son and back to me. I regained control and lowered Kyle back down, releasing his neck. "I want him imprisoned. He will stay here until my mate and I leave. Once we leave he comes with me to my prison. He is a danger to the queen, my mate, and I will not have a danger like this lurking around. Jackson, please bring the Alphas son to the dungeon." Jackson nodded and grabbed Kyle. He didn't stand a chance if he tried to escape. Even a beta lycan is stronger then an Alpha werewolf. As they passed by me, Kyle growled. "Don't worry, I will get what I want. And it will start with making Ararsi fall in love with me." I grabbed his arm and turned him to face me. I punched him in the stomach. "You don't learn pup, do you?!" I growl angrily. I've had enough of this pup and his loud mouth. Kyle and Jackson leave the room and I am left with a very afraid Alpha.

I look at Alpha Mark and feel a bit of pity for him. This was definitely not how this meeting was supposed to go. I was supposed to be here for a few hours, stay the night and head home at dawn. Instead, now he has to watch as his son is put in prison for the rest of his pathetic life. If I don't kill him in anger. He looks at me, forlorn. "I'm so sorry your highness.. I had no idea ..." I walked over and put my hand on his shoulder. "I am sorry, Alpha, that you have to deal with this. I hope you understand though." He nods and sighs. "Of course your majesty. I had no idea about his strong feelings for her, or him rejecting his mate. I came here when I smelled him to try and talk sense into him. Clearly I have failed." he said angrily. I shook my head. "You wouldn't have known. Don't beat yourself up over it. But I am sorry it has to be this way. Now, can we leave my mates room and continue our discussions up in the office. She and I have a date tonight and I would like to have some time to get ready." I smiled weakly. "Of course your highness!" and with that he jogged out of the room and up the stairs. I mind link Jackson on the walk up.

"I want you to install locks with keys on that door. Best lock you can get."

"Absolutely Connor. Right on it." I cut the link. Let's get this over with.
