*Kyle*
As I slept, I could hear a sound coming from the cave. It made my hackles stand at attention and made Rambo uncomfortable. I immediately stood and faced the cave. "Who's there? Show yourself!" I said with a powerful Alpha growl. I saw a shadow emerging from the depths, eyes glowing red. I instinctively backed up towards the entrance growling. "Don't move any closer! I will hurt you! " I growled.
"Oh please, relax Alpha. I am doing just as you asked. Here I am." The figure emerged into clear view, red eyes still aglow. He stood about 6'7" feet tall, messy black hair falling over his eyes. He was very slender, and lacked any muscle definition. He was clearly not a wolf. "Who are you? And why are you in this cave?" I growled louder. He tilted his head to the side. "I'm clearly no wolf, so why do you think your tone will work on me?" He asked sarcastically. He was right, it was pointless.
"Here, I will get you shorts. Shift back and let's talk." As he said that, shorts materialized in front of me. A growl escaped my lips. Was he a warlock? "Relax Alpha, I won't hurt you. But I can tell someone has. Shift and let's talk." he smirks. I shift and quickly grab the shorts and turn around. "Thanks.." I say hesitantly. "Nile. My name is Nile." I give him a questioning look. "I know what you want to ask, yes I am a warlock. But I am also part vampire. Which is why I was in this cave. I was out too late feeding last night and needed somewhere to stay until sundown." I nodded in acceptance. Well now the red eyes made sense. That is typically a vampire trait. "So now that you know my name, what is your name, young Alpha?"
"Kyle. My name is Kyle. I'm from the Blue Moon pack." He smiles. "Ah Alpha Mark's son." I look shocked. "How do you know my father? Vampires... or warlocks for that matter, are not usually welcome on werewolf packlands. What business have you had with my father?" I ask. He smirks again, and I get a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. "Let me ask you something. Did you know your father had a brother?" I look at him puzzled. "No, he has never mentioned a brother. He has a sister, that's all I know." Nile walks closer. "Well, emphasis on had. Your uncle hired me to kill your father many years ago, when he was a young Alpha himself. But your uncle was stupid. And made promises he couldn't keep. That's the thing about supernaturals like me. We are willing to help you, but for a price. Your uncle promised something he couldn't keep. I would have helped with his little problem, if maybe he had promised something he could actually obtain. Alas, he could not, and I had to take alternative payment." He said with an evil grin.
Rambo was howling in my head and I was almost about to shift to rip him apart. He would have killed my father given the right price. My eyes were black with anger, Rambo ready to pounce. He laughed, "Oh young Alpha, do you really think you could take me on? I've been doing this a long time." He smiled menacingly. "But I do have a proposition for you, Kyle. I can feel your heart is broken. I can feel your wolf is broken. Let me help you fix it." My eyes changed back to their normal color immediately and Rambo retreated to the back of my mind. "What do you have in mind?" I asked. "I can tell it was a she-wolf that broke your heart. Her heart belongs to another, does it not?" I nodded, a slight growl escaping my lips. "Well how about I help you, and you help me? What do you say?" He said proudly while holding out his hand. "What do you want in return?" He smiled walked behind me. He put his hand on my shoulder and got close to my ear. "I will give you a potion that will make her fall in love with you. It is very hard to break the spell that this potion causes. And in return, I ask you to give me the necklace the Lycan King wears. It is a very special pendant. I've sought after it for hundreds of years."
He moved away from my ear and smiled again. A potion for a pendant? It shouldn't be hard to get it off that stupid mutts neck. I could definitely take him, and get my love back. Nile reached out his hand out once more. "So young Alpha, do we have a deal?" I nodded, "What happens if I can't get the pendant?" I question. "Oh that's easy, the same thing that happened to your uncle." he assured me. "Which is?" I question once more. "A lifetime of service to me. You will be my slave." he smiled evilly. I put my hand out and shook his. A burning sensation suddenly erupted in my palm and I let out a scream. I tried to pull my hand away but I couldn't. "What the hell is going on?!" I screamed at Nile. "Oh sorry young Alpha. I should have told you all my deals, " He pulls his hand away, "are magically bound so that neither party can break their promises."
I look down on my hand and there is a branding. It's what looks like a bat with Moon in the background, and what looks like a cauldron. I don't know much about vampires or warlocks, but there was a language written over the brand that I couldn't read. I look up at Nile, my face pained from the burn. "I need a few days to gather the necessary materials for the potion. I will come to you at night in a few days time. When I return I will tell you how to make sure she takes the potion. And in the meantime, get me my pendant." he states. "How do I know you're going to give me the potion? " I growl at him. "I have to, young Alpha." He shows me his palm, and he has the same branding. "If I don't, my soul goes to hell to be tortured for eternity. I don't want that." He smirks. "Goodbye Kyle. I will see you in a few days." and with that he disappeared.
I collapse on the floor of the cave looking at my hand. "How the hell am I getting that pendant off that mutt?" I think to myself. I have to do this. I need Ararsi. And I want that Lycan mutt to pay for taking my mate. I stand up and remove the shorts. I carry them in my mouth as I run back to the packhouse. I need to come up with a plan, and quick.
