Marine's Wife

I woke up to my Phone ringing when I answered all I could hear my mother in law Elisabeth trying not to cry as she told me that her husband James had passed away. I was shocked I had no idea what I was going to tell my husband Nick. He was overseas fighting for our country. The last thing he needed to hear was that his father had passed away. I grabbed my keys half asleep but acting wide awake. I drove over to Elisabeth´s house where my brother in law Jake and my two sister in laws Samantha and Angelina were all were walking up to the door,as I pulled up to the Hernandez's residence. Before I went in I looked at myself then got off. Not making an effort since it was 3 in the morning and I had work at 5 in the NICU. I knocked on the door when the butler mason answered everyone is in the living room Mason said. As I was walking to the living room I seen so many beautiful pictures of my in laws. I smiled when I noticed a baby picture of nick. As I approached the living room I seen a website about birds being pulled up on the tv. I greeted everyone as I was sitting down Elisabeth asked if I had told Nick about his father. ¨No Elisabeth I decided I'd tell him in the morning.¨ ¨Oh I suppose that'll be fine.¨ ¨ Mom we can't really do much it´s 3 in the morning.¨ ¨Fine then just everyone leave I´ll figure out how to bury your father on my own.´´ Elisabeth shouted as the tears started streaming down her face. ̈ ̈Mom Jake was just trying to say that we should plan dad's funeral tomorrow.¨ ¨I agree with Sam momma Jessa has to be at work at 5 it's already 4.¨ ¨You're right everyone go home get some sleep and come over around 6 in the evening.¨ I got up and told them all bye as I sleepily walked out of the living room.¨Mrs.Hernandez would you like me to get you a cab I wouldn't want you to drive home super tired.¨ ¨ Thank you Mason but I think I can manage my drive isn't too long.̈ Jake walked up,̈ Jessa it's fine I'll pay for a cab we don't need anything else to happen to our family.¨ ¨ After all you are a Hernandez or should I say Dr.Hernandez.¨ I chuckled ̈Jake I'll be fine don't worry.¨ Fine if you insist then you better call me so I know you got home safe jessa.¨ ¨ Of course I will.¨ I began walking to my car when I tripped over a broken piece of cobblestone from the drive away. ̈Jessa are you okay.¨ I quickly got up with the help of Jake. ̈ ̈Yes Jake I´m fine.¨ ¨That's it Mason will you call a cab for Jessa.¨ Yes Mr.Hernandez.¨ Jake how am I going to drive to work.¨ I'll drive your car to your house.¨ ¨I still don't see why all of this is necessary jake.¨ ¨I Just don't want you to get hurt jessa your apart of our family and family looks out of each other.¨ I hope you guys like the first chapter I ́ll try to update every saturdays or sundays.
