"Now that we are all here. What's our plan?" Taeyong said.
They are all gathered while seated, forming a huge circle.
"I just want to share this worries of mine, it's been several hours now, but we still haven't seen other people aside from us. We can all conclude that we are the only survivors in this island." Heachan said.
"Given that situation, it means that we are separated from majority of the passengers. It could mean that the rescue team may not see us right away, because they will prioritize others." He added.
"Yeah. You're right. That's a huge possibility." Johnny agreed.
"We can all agree with that. But I think the most important thing to think about right now is where are we going to stay for the night. We need to find a place to stay before the night falls." Ems shared her concern.
"I agree." Heachan said. "We can plan everything by tomorrow once we all had a good rest. It will be best to think about tonight first."
"We need to gather dry woods first, so we can build a fire later. Who will join me to gather some dry woods?" Lucas said while standing up.
"It's best if me, Johnny and Jaehyun will join you." Taeyong declared. " We don't know yet what's inside that forest. It will be best if we work here as a group. Maybe we can also find a water source inside the forest."
"That's correct." Johnny and Jaehyun both agreed, then they both stand up to get ready.
"We' ll try to tidy up that space over there shaded by trees. So maybe we can spend the night there" Ann said as she points to a place with trees.
"All right then! I guess that's enough planning for now. We can now all start with our tasks." Jeno said while smiling.
When Lucas, Johnny, Jaehyun and Taeyong were about to head to the midst of the forest, Ann remembered something.
"Oh wait!!" She exclaimed.
"I think I have something in my luggage that could help you guys, just in case. "
She opened her luggage and took out a sealed black pouch. In there are few of her hiking materials, which includes foldable knife and her mini tool set which includes tiny magnifying glass to help them make fire.
She also get one of her blouses and ripped it into long strips. Everyone is just watching her as she do it quickly.
"Here." She handed the foldable knife and long strips she made from the blouse. "In case you need to cut something, this may help a little, or for some other reason that it can be used. As for the long strips, you can use that to tie on tree branches to served as trail marks."
Jaehyun took it to Ann's hand then thanked her while smiling.
"You guys take care." Jaemin said.
"OK! Let's go now. The earlier we finish this task the better." Taeyong said. "You take care of everything here, we'll be back right away." He added while looking at Doyoung.
Doyoung just nodded. "You guys take care." He said...
Jaehyun and the other three members went ahead to do their task. They entered the forest hoping to get what they needed.
"Be careful guys!! Make sure to follow my track and keep an eye on the person in front of you." Taeyong said as he leads the group.
"How far do you think we should go? I don't see any human trail." Johnny asked while following Taeyong's foot steps.
"Let's just continue as far as we can. It's important that we find water source. If Heachan's worry will happen, we need to have a source of water." Taeyong answered.
"By the way Lucas and Jaehyun, don't forget to leave traces on our trail. We need that so we will not be lost on our way back."
"Yes Hyung!!" Lucas said as he helped Jaehyun to tie one of the long strips on one of the tree branches.
The group continued their way to the deep of the forest hoping to find what they are looking for.
In the meantime...
"Where should I put these now?" Jeno asked while dragging fallen coconut leaves.
"You can put it on this side." Ann said while pointing on her right side.
They are already done in cleaning the area, they all helped in removing stones and making sure there's no unwanted creature in their chosen space.
Now they are already working on creating a space to rest comfortably. Ann, Ems and Haechan are in charge in weaving the coconut leaves. They will use it to create something where they can sleep later tonight.
While Doyoung, Jaemin, Jeno and Mark is in charge in gathering the leaves.
"Hyung! Make sure you double check the leaves. There should be no insects or anything on it." Jaemin said when he noticed that Doyoung just picked up the leaves and dragged it right away to where Ann and the others are gathered.
"Oh! This should be fine! Haechan can just take care of that!" Doyoung said while smiling mischievously. Then he continue to drag the coconut leaves to give it to the "weavers group".
"But Haechan might not be the one to handle that leaves." Jaemin said quietly while talking to himself, since Doyoung already left.
"What did you say?" Jeno asked who just appears from behind.
"Oh nothing! I just said that we should double check the leaves before bringing it to them." Jaemin responded.
"Yeah! That's right!" Mark agreed as he examined the coconut leaves his holding, then headed to heachan and two ladies direction after confirming the leaves are clean.
"Are you okay?" Jeno asked Jaemin.
His been friends with Jaemin for a very long time and he knows if something is bothering him.
"Yes. Of course!!" Jaemin said then flashes a huge smile. He doesn't want to worry his friend. In fact he is really okay, physically. For some reason he just feels worried for Ann and wants to make sure she will be okay all the time.
He's thinking that maybe, since they helped her, he feels responsible for her safety...
