Madie stood in the barn at Sydney’s, watching Cody check the sheep rescued from the accident. Some of them had been released the night before into the second meadow with their flock. It was her first day back to work, as Wenner insisted she take a day off. Sydney and Jax had returned last night from Emerald Lake and they were in the house, having breakfast.
Cody stood. “These last three should be able to join the rest in the paddock in a couple of days. The owners are picking them up Saturday. Wenner has one left at the Centre that can be moved in with these sheep tonight.”
