Madie ran to the door, flung it open, and pulled Cody by the arm into the cabin. “I think I found something.” She bounced up and down on the balls of her feet, bubbling with excitement.
“Already? That was quick.”
“I couldn’t wait for you to get here so I Google-searched her name. Nothing. Then I typed in Douglas Crawford, Lawyer. I was about to check out the site when you arrived. Come and see.”
She pulled another chair beside hers and pointed to the laptop screen. “Look. Douglas Crawford: Owner, Carson & Crawford Realty Inc., Osoyoos, BC.”
