As soon as she had been released on bond, Cam had called her sister to tell her that she’d been arrested but not to worry. Lori seemed to take it very well, had even agreed not to ask any questions, but it was only the calm before the storm. Two hours later, Lori called back. “I’ll be on USAir flight 2318. Tonight. It arrives at seven-twenty-nine. Pick me up at BWI,” was all she said before the line went dead. Cam remembered that evening vividly. All the way to the airport, Cam worried about what Lori would have to say. The tone of her voice had been terse, very much like Dad’s when he was getting ready to issue a stiff reprimand.
