Chapter 8 The days stretched one into another and Cam lost track of time. Sitting at the table, during dinner, with the other three, was almost a chore. She ached. She was black and blue. She was tired. Tired physically. Tired mentally. Tired emotionally. As Charlie, Michael, and Maggie cheerfully chatted, Cam could only push the food around her plate, taking small bites that tasted good, but she was too tired to complete the whole chewing process.
