Sick Days

Alyra woke up still feeling nauseous, dry mouth, blurry vision, and severe diarrhea. Caleb found Alyra in the bathroom passed out on the floor. He rushed her to the hospital wing in the mansion, and the doctor put an IV right away in her and added essential fluids since she became dehydrated over night. He gave her medicine for the diarrhea plus he had to get Alyra's fever under control.

Caleb stayed at Alyra's bed side all day and night.

The next morning Alyra opened her eyes, and noticed Caleb was sleeping in a chair next to her bed. She touched his arm with her small hand to see would he wake up, but he didn't and she fell back to sleep.

Alyra woke up when the nurse was changing her IV bag, and she notice her room full of flowers, the nurse told Alyra "you are a very special little girl to someone, look at all the gifted flowers you got". Alyra said "gifts, what is that?" The nurse said "gifts are what you get from people when you are ill, a birthday, or special events in your life". I guess the guys really like you they filled your room with flowers.

The nurse checked her temperature which was still high, but not extremely high when she first came in. The nurse asked Alyra was she hungry, and Alyra shook her head no. The nurse told her she needs to eat something, but Alyra still couldn't eat.

Alyra fell back asleep for the rest of the day.

Max came to the hospital wing to check up on Alyra's condition with the doctor, and stopped at her room to see if she was awake. Max walked in and Alyra opened her baby blue eyes and looked at him. Max said "how do you feel little one?" Alyra said "a little better".

Max replied "good to hear you gave me a scare, I thought I would lose you". Alyra looked at her blankets then back at Max. Max asked her what was wrong? Alyra said "I know you are disappointed and I am sorry". Max said "everyone get sick little one don't worry, you will be back on your feet in no time, and kicking the guy's butts soon enough," with a smile on his face. He gives Alyra a kiss on her forehead and heads out of her room looking for the doctor.

Alyra watched some TV and fell back to sleep.

That evening she woke up to Caleb and Sam voice in her room. They were playing cards on her little table. She looked at them, and Sam said "finally she is alive", and Alyra smiled at him. Caleb walked over and gave her a kiss on her forehead and said "You scared me, I thought you were dead on that floor, until I picked you up and notice you were still breathing". Caleb put his arms around her and gave her a big long hug. Sam said "don't worry when you feel better we will continue your training, no rush Alyra. I'm just glad you are okay". Alyra thanked Caleb and Sam for the flowers and said "It feels like I am outside, and it smells so good in here".

Caleb and Sam laughed, and went back playing cards well Alyra rested again. Caleb stayed all night with her while Sam went to his room.

After 2 weeks in the hospital wing Alyra was given a clean bill of health and was told she was able to start training again.

Caleb and Sam helped her take her flowers to her room, and Sam said "you rest for today and we will pick up where we left off before you got sick. We will start tomorrow morning in the studio with Caleb and me, okay sweetheart". Sam gave her a kiss on her forehead and left her room.

Caleb stayed behind and asked Alyra "do you want something to eat or drink?" Alyra said "no I am good, I will see you at supper if I don't fall asleep". Caleb said "I will come and check up on you, and wake you up so you don't miss supper, okay." Alyra nodded her head yes, and laid down on her bed. Caleb left her room.

Supper time, Caleb went to Alyra's room and woke her up. Alyra and Caleb walked into the kitchen and Mama ran over to her and gave her a big bear hug. Mama said while still holding her "thank god you are alright little one, I thought I would have to pickle some family jewels after supper to teach the guys a lesson". Alyra said "family jewels...what is that?" Mama started laughing while looking at the guys and said "guys private parts", Alyra said "oh no..you wouldn't Mama". Mama just smiled at Alyra and got her a seat at the table near Caleb and Sam while giving them a devilish look.

After Alyra ate supper she went straight to her bedroom and fell asleep right away.
