His Proposed Luna

Cheyenne was shocked. She was not sure if she had heard right. The maids stared in shock and so did Winter. Winter looked at Cheyenne in surprise.

Cheyenne on the other hand was frozen at a spot as she had not expected the news she had received. What was he saying?

"What are you saying, son? Are you out of your mind?" The Luna questioned.

"No, I am not" He brushed his hands through his hair.

"You are out of your mind. You are out of your mind, Steele cause if you are not, you would not have the effrontery to spew such nonsense".

Immediately, Terra diverted her gaze to Cheyenne.

Cheyenne stared in shock as she did not understand what was going on.

There was nothing she could do or say but stare in confusion.

" What do you mean? What do you think you are doing? Embarrassing my daughter in public?" He turned to Alpha Stalker

"What is the matter with your son? Is this some sort of joke? What on earth is going on?" Alpha Jon Snow finally broke the silence.

"I am sorry, please give me some time" Alpha Stalker pleaded with the Alpha who was brewing with anger.

Cheyenne stood in confusion as she tried to understand what was going on. Could it be a joke or was it a reality?

She pinched herself multiple times to be sure she was not dreaming. Cheyenne squeezed her face as the pain was truly for real. It was not a dream.

“Cheyenne is my bride” He confirmed.

“You must be out of your mind!” His father threw a punch to his face and immediately, he began to bleed.

“Stalker!” The Luna yelled in fear. “What has come over you? He is still our son!"

She tried to calm her husband down, who was already breathing heavily like he was going to pass out any minute.

“Really?” He began to chuckle as he held his face. He was already bleeding. “Is that all you got?

Come on, hit me again, continue hitting me because no matter how much you hit me, it does not change the fact that she is my mate”

“Steele!” His mother, Luna yelled at him, urging him to stop but in the process, her husband snatched himself from her and headed towards their son again, he threw another heavy punch to his face and he began to bleed again, this time, even more.

“Oh my God!” Luna held her mouth as tears began to flow from her eyes. Terra gasped in shock and so did Cheyenne.

Roman, on the other hand, felt no pity for him. He was getting served what he deserved.

“Come on, he is your son” Alpha Jon Snow could not help but interrupt.

Even though he was upset with Steele, he could not watch Alpha Stalker treat him in such a manner.

He could kill him in anger.

“Leave me alone, let me show him I am truly his father!” He yelled in anger.

“Come on, he gets the message. It is enough” Alpha Jon snow dragged him back.

The Luna broke down in tears. Cheyenne watched them as she wondered what was going to happen next.

She was transfixed on a spot.

Roman had wanted to go fight with the Alpha son but Winter was quick to hold him back.

That was the last thing they needed. It was only going to make the situation worse, rather than better.

“This is all the maid’s fault!” Terra suddenly shouted and immediately, all eyes turned to Cheyenne.

Cheyenne’s eyes widened in shock. What did she do? What has she done to be accused in such a manner? Roman’s brows furrowed as he got more upset and so did Winter.

Again, Cheyenne tried to break free and attack but winter was quick to hold him back.

Jon Steele was still trying to catch his breath as his father’s punch had sent him to the floor the hard way.

“It is the maid’s fault I am sure she must have done something to the Alpha’s son!” She yelled again.

The Luna wiped her tears and stood up slowly.

“We brought you to this park house and gave you the privilege to take care of our son. We gave you all we had.

We treated you like our own. This wolf was born in your hands Cheyenne. You know he has a mate.

Why have you decided to do this to us? To me? To his mate. What type of a wolf are you?” The Luna lashed out angrily.

Alpha Jon Snow and Terra looked at Cheyenne with disgust like she was filled with filth.

“I am sure you have treated her with too much love and care and that is why she thinks she is qualified to be the next Luna” Terra rolled her eyes.

“Not at all, your Majesty” She ran and bowed right in front of the Luna, tears freely flowing from her eyes.

“I would never do such a thing. You picked me up and treated me like I was one of you.

You showered me with love and saw me worthy to raise your son, you gave me all the care a mother could give her child and I deeply appreciate it but I can never do that to you.

I can never take the place of the future Luna. I can never do anything out of place to..”

“You lie!” Terra interrupted. “If you never intended for this to happen, how then are you wearing such a costly garment?

We all know only important people wear those. Why did you collect it from the Alpha’s son?”

“I dare not lie to you, my Luna. I know nothing about this. Please, believe me.

I was also surprised when the Alpha’s son gifted me this year as I thought it was too expensive.

Winter can bear me witness”

Winter’s eyes widened in shock as everyone turned to look at her. She sighed as they diverted their gaze back to Cheyenne.

“I never knew this will ever happen. I planned to tell you about my decision but decided to wait until after the ceremony..”

“Your decision to steal my son?!” The Alpha interrupted.

“No, your Majesty. I wanted to inform everyone that I have found my mate and we would be leaving to start our life “ She cried even more.

“Your mate?” Terra questioned.

“My mate” Cheyenne raised her head to look at Terra. Immediately, she turned to Luna.

“I am just as surprised as you are because the Alpha’s son did not tell me anything about this decision of his. “ She wiped her tears.

“Who is your mate?” The Luna asked, a hint of confusion on her face.

“Roman, your Majesty. We planned to move and start our life after the ceremony”

“Is that true?” The Alpha looked at Roman who stood at a distance, anger radiating from his eyes.

“Yes, your…”

“Step forward” Luna interrupted him.

Immediately, he nodded and did as he was instructed.

“Yes, your Majesty. Cheyenne and I had the intention of moving away from this palace and letting you know we would start our life since her duty as the official watch of the Alpha’s son has ended.

“If I find out you are lying to defend her, I will not hesitate to cut off your head!”

The Alpha yelled in anger, perhaps to scare Roman but there was no way he could be scared since he was saying the truth.

“Yes, my Lord” He nodded in agreement. Like someone that had been stung like a bee, the Alpha’s son stood up in anger.

“No! No! You lie! That is not true. She is my mate, not yours!” He yelled in anger.

“Shut up!” The Luna yelled at him.

“No mama. This is my mate and I would not let anyone have her!”

The Alpha slapped his face again and he fell to the floor again. This time, the Luna did not stop him.

“What has come over you? She is not for you and will never be for you”

“You lie father. She is mine and will always be mine” He smiled, even as his face bled, blood flowing from his teeth.

“I do not want this union with you. Roman is my mate!” Cheyenne yelled In anger She was tired of his drama.

“I do not care if you want it or not. You are mine and will forever be mine” He yelled in anger.
