Kristen I was a little surprised by how empty the parking area was when we arrived at the trail head. It was a beautiful spring day, with brilliant blue skies and a bright sun that wasn't yet scorching hot. There were only two other cars with out of state plates. “Well, better for us,” I said happily as I helped Joy out of the back seat. The hiking trail was listed as easy-moderate online, with a few steep and rocky places. It only took the average hiker an hour and a half to reach the vista point.
