I lay in my bed, boringly gazing up at the ceiling. I am not grounded but still been stuck in my room for the last four days. At this point, Inez is too sad as it's been too long since she had a run.
I sigh, rolling off the bed to the door. Just as I open the door, I overhear my mom’s voice coming from Rora's room.
“There's no benefit in avoiding him. I am worried about what will happen if he reaches his limit”
Frowning, I tip-toed my way to Rora's closed door.
“I will face it when that happens but for now, I will do everything in my power to not mate him. I am thinking of rejecting him—
“No, you can not!” Mom raises her voice but the rest of her speech is so hushed that I couldn't understand.
