Cassie knew they were not driving back to the city when they passed a sign saying welcome to Cold Spring. When they got into the small town the cars stopped in front of Cold Springs hotel and cafe.
Their doors were opened and Duncan ushered them out. Cassie looked around and saw people staring at them. It was obvious two black jeeps with tinted windows would draw attention. Especially the suited men that looked like they were guarding the president.
Cassie thought they probably looked like sad clowns with their make-up and appearance disheveled from the ordeal they went through. They had been through too much to care about looks. They needed to focus on finding a way to rescue themselves.
They were led into the hotel straight to the restaurant side without stopping. Cassie figured Dunc
