"s**t, s**t, s**t," Jake swore as he hung up on Chuck. Whoever had taken Cassie had been clever. They probably knew he would track them and had made a switch that confused Chuck who had been falling the car using cameras. The silver Honda Civic had gone under a bridge and out but the silver Honda that came out was not the one with Cassie. They had thrown away cassie's cell phone a long time ago so he could not track that. This is the time he wished she had a watch or any jewelry that he could have put a tracker in.
