Cassie woke up to something or someone playing with her hair. She remembered putting it in a braid when they had been watching a movie.
"Did you undo my braid?" she asked Jake who she could feel lying on the bed behind her. She could feel his body heat on her back and it made her feel warm and fuzzy.
"Yes," Jake answered.
"Why?"
"I like it when it's free, you look wild and sexy," he explained pulling one red lock and coiling it on his finger.
Cassie turned her head and looked at him over her shoulder. He had this happy and satisfied smile on his face.
"You are weird," she stated then turned away and snuggled into her pillow planning to sleep some more.
"It's not gonna work this time. You can pretend to sleep for as long as you can but today I'm not leaving until we have 'the' talk
