365 Days With You

First Challenge!

A swarm of zombies starts to approach them from every direction. They split into four with Sylvia teaming up with Hana. Teo watches the students struggle to keep up until Thalia gets bitten by one of them. She stops attacking the zombie and cries because of the pain. 

“Ouch!”

“Thalia!” 

Hana kills the zombie and helps Thalia to rest nearby. All she could think was saving her until she saw Thalia start to change into a zombie. She lets the girl go and grabs her knife. Ryan saw her troubled expression and went toward her. He pats her back and gives her a nod. 

Hana sighs and without wasting more time, she stabs Thalia, killing her instantly. Her body disappears and she’s gone from the world. Ryan helps the girl stand and they continue fighting. Teo saw his daughter looking a bit down and killed more zombies. 

Robin scans the area and looks at the top of the mountain. He looks around and sees Hana, Teo and Ryan are looking tired. He didn't want more people to die here so he decided to grab Hana and run. 

“Run up! Let’s look for somewhere to hide! ”

“Wait-!”

Teo shows his dark smiles and grabs Ryan. Ryan is still shooting the zombie while Teo is running with him. Teo watched as Hana did the same thing Ryan did but he also watched Robin’s hand wrapped nicely around Hana’s hips. He summons guns and kills a few zombies with his rage. 

Ryan knows what Teo is thinking and sighs at the older guy. If he wanted to be an overprotective father, now is not the right time. Ryan hits Teo’s head and gives him a face that shows ‘Relax or I will kill you’ expression. Teo tense a bit and nod at Ryan who’s still intimidating since the first time they met. 

When they found a cave, they entered the cave and Hana bought a blanket to cover the entrance. She was sure the zombie are too dumb to catch them there. They sat down and rested a bit. They bought some food and Hana widens her eyes after checking something.

“Guys! Check the coin's ranking!”

“What is it…” 

All of them started to summon the shop and went to the coin ranking. Knowing what it is, Ryan walks away and everyone starts to be shocked. They saw Ryan ranked number one and there’s two players out. Mira and Thalia. They looked around for Ryan but Ryan is already gone. 

Ryan on the other hand starts to remember his zombie kill. He realized, when he killed the gifted zombie, he was given more coins. So, he always helps the others by killing the one with power. He doesn’t share the info with others due to him wanting to win the test and get to know if there’s any prize he could win. 

He pulled out his gun and killed a zombie that was about to jump on him. “Just because you have the timer...doesn’t mean you can win.” He heard a guy's voice and looked up. He saw a person with a hoodie covering their face. The person makes his weapon disappear and raises his hand. 

“You do know who I am, right?” 

“The...creator…”

The guy chuckles and nods. He walks towards Ryan but Ryan points his gun at him. He had no choice but to stop walking towards him. He leans at the tree and closes his eyes. The buff guy was about to ask the mysterious person but he then pointed to the right. “100 zombies coming.” 

They summoned their weapon without any words and ran towards the zombie group. Ryan was sure the other girl that died in the ranking was with this mysterious person before so he tries to be careful. Surprisingly, he didn’t attack Ryan, not even glance. 

They killed the last 20 zombies and heard an alarm sound. Paper falls and they get each one. The paper states that their first challenge has ended and both of them sat down to relax. “You’re gonna ditch that NPC with those two?” 

Ryan looks back from the place he tried to escape and point his gun at the guy. “I plan on winning. It’s sketchy to hear this is a test but you didn’t state the prize. Did you tell only one person about the prize?” The creator stands up and points a sword at Ryan. 

“Maybe?”

Alex,Aaron and Ash rest after making sure no zombie is near them. Aaron touches his face and closes his eyes before transforming into a teenage boy. “What the hell- We leave for five. Five minutes, Aaron.” Aaron smiles and checks the shop for some food. He saw the coins ranking and looked back at his brother.

Not that he wanted to laugh at the fact of his brother going down in the rank but his friend, Ryan. “So like, we just have to survive this right?” Ash asked and drank some water. Alex remembered the prize that was stated in the paper he read. He was sure, this is a test where we can’t win together but only one person can win it. 

He kept silent but Aaron knew Alex was thinking about something. When he was about to ask it, Ash beat him to it. “You seem to think about something.” Alex shakes his head and wanders around for some fresh air. He wanted to escape the game but he wanted his brother to escape too. 

He found a paper falling down and he caught it. He felt relieved to survive the first challenge and went back to get his brother. He saw his brother transform back and he gave him a hug. His brother cried and hugged him back, happy that he survived the terrifying challenge. 

Ash looks at the two brothers and to her side. The girl appears again and smiles at her. Leo saw this and stared at the woman who was glancing at the air. He is a child but with Aaron living inside him, they share the same smart brain. He let go of his brother and reached for the girl’s hand. 

“Are you facing your fear right now?”
