Zombie Attacks!

Before Teo could turn around to call Ryan, they heard alarm sounds. Papers fell from the sky and each of them got a piece of paper. Ryan checks his timers and it changes from 0 to 5 hours.

‘WELCOME TO THE FIRST CHALLENGE! TEAM CHALLENGE!

Your teammates are the person near you. Some teams have three people but no f***s given! While your challenge is ongoing, you can still kill other people and yes your teammates too but let’s not too early. In the first 30 minutes, you can’t kill anyone. Now!

Challenge: SURVIVE ZOMBIE ATTACK FOR 5 HOURS

START!’

Ryan grips his paper and sighs. He remembers this morning when he was blessed by this timer.

'Ah, my favourite player~ You're quite popular among the fans. This is a gift. I hope you like it! It is a timer~ Everyone just waited for the challenge to come and surprised them while you, my guy, are blessed by this timer. This timer shows when the next challenge starts and do you know time is important? In normal life-’

“Yeah, no way I want to read the others. So…this timer…a few more hours and the first challenge will start huh?”

“Ryan!”

Ryan snaps out from his flashbacks when he sees hundreds of zombies attack them at the same time. “I guess it’s our time to shine huh?” Teo smiles and starts to s***h the zombie. Thalia pulls out her bow and starts to shoot her arrow. Ryan loads his gun and exhales before shooting faster than those two behind him.

Thalia inspects Ryan’s shot and sees that his aim never misses and he aims at the zombie's head. He has killed fifty zombies while she’s stuck with probably ten or more. A zombie jumps and attacks Thalia but Teo pushes her away.

They heard the loud punch sounds after the zombie missed his attack. Ryan squinted his eyes and he realized what happened. “Be careful! Some of them are gifted with power!” Teo widens his eyes and continues his attack. ‘I need to increase my strength too!’ Teo thinks.

“THALIA! CAN I KNOW YOUR POWER? TEO TOO!”

“I CAN SEARCH THE AURA OF PEOPLE IF I KNOW THEIR AURA!”

“DOES ZOMBIE HAVE AURA?”

“YES! DISGUSTING AURA!”

Teo sighs and a zombie teleports in front of him with a seesaw. He avoids the seesaw and Ryan shoots the zombie. He smirks and pushes Ryan away to kill a zombie behind him. Ryan reloads his gun and continues attacking. Teo went next to Ryan and helped him.

“I have a lot of power but I think I can sense how many movements are around us.”

“Good enough. CAN YOU GUYS USE YOUR POWER TO SCAN HOW MANY ZOMBIES?”

“I NEED TO FOCUS AND NOT MOVE!”

“Same!”

Ryan drags Teo and runs to Thalia. He makes her look at him and she nods her head. She closes her eyes and a white aura surrounds her. Teo did the same and a red aura surrounded him. Ryan covers them and continues protecting them. “Two hundred zombies!” Thalia stands up and few arrows appear for her to use.

“A thousand footsteps could be heard! I guess we can’t rest.”

Ryan saw a warning in front of him. ‘Buy a new weapon! Power disable in 5 minutes!’ Ryan gritted his teeth and checked the shop. He widens his eyes as he realizes something odd but he closes the shop and looks at Teo.

“Teo! Can you teleport while bringing people?”

Teo smirks and grabs both students.

“Hana! Get away!”

The person punches the zombie with his super strength and looks at Hana. Hana uses her power and rocks around her and starts to shoot the zombie. “Robin! I got a warning! I need to buy a weapon!” Robin punched another zombie and summoned his sword.

“Warning?”

“…yes. Warning about power disables in 30 minutes.”

“s**t! Buy some weapons for me! I’ll pay you later!”

He slashes the zombie who tries to attack Hana while Hana nods and starts to buy some weapons. Hana stands and holds a wrench. She runs towards the group of zombies and starts to hit their head.

“Claws Village’s zombies had the most zombies! I regret coming here!”

Hana rolls her eyes by listening to the guy complain and continue attacking. A zombie uses fire and attacks Robin. He uses his power and hits the ground. The zombie flies back and he chuckles before Hana throws a hammer at the zombie.

“Nice-”

“Take back the hammer. We need it.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

A block of ice traps them and Hana tries to move. “Dang it! Can you use your pow-” A fire was shot and slowly melted the ice. Hana and Robin saw Thalia, Teo and Ryan. “Hana!” Before Teo could run and hug her, he saw a zombie behind her but she was immediately saved by Ryan’s last bullet.

“Are you okay?”

Hana stares at Ryan before Robin gives her a hard slap behind her head. “NO TIME FOR THAT! CONTINUE! THIS VILLAGE HAD MORE ZOMBIES!” Ryan buys a new gun and he smirks. “Glad to help.” Ryan starts shooting again while Teo shows a dark smile. He attacks a lot of zombies and curses in his head.

‘WHY DID SHE BLUSH AT RYAN! RYAN YOU BASTARD!’

Three footsteps run out from a shelter that was attacked by a zombie. Aaron heard footsteps and shot the zombie’s head. “One out.” Ash and Alex tense after seeing the smooth shoot. “What power ya got huh?” They look at Aaron who is looking back at them.

“O-oh! I have future-“

“Boring next.”

Alex sulks and Ash becomes silent for a while.

“I have super speed, sharp vision and other two that are not useful.”

“Basically all useless.”

Ash felt herself getting struck by those words. Alex hits Aaron’s head and he sees a zombie. He pulls his sword and slashes it. “Not bad,” Aaron smirks and a group of gifted zombies went towards them. “They have power?” Ash mutters but she avoids a flying zombie and kills it.

Aaron buys a baseball bat and hits two zombies. He saw a zombie behind Alex and summoned his sniper to shoot it. ‘I swear my brother was supposed to be 11 years old-’ Alex saw images in his head and he stopped moving.

“Oi! You good for nothing brother! MOVE!”

Alex regains his consciousness and widens his eyes. He drags his brother and Ash. They widened their eyes when they saw five trees were dropped at the spot they were standing. “I take back my words.” Alex wants to laugh but the zombie keeps coming.

“We need to run and look for a hiding place. This place is full of zombies.”

“Around hundreds or more are coming.”

They start to run away and two people are watching from a tree branch.

“Should we go too?” The girl asks.

“I don’t know Mira. Should we?”

The girl stares at the mysterious person who becomes her teammate which is kinda inconvenient. She checks at those three again but she was pushed down from the tree. She lands perfectly on a zombie but more zombies come and she is pinned.

“s**t-!”

“I am sorry but…30 minutes passed! And I don’t plan on working with anyone.”
