The wind tore through the building like a living thing, shrieking through the premises as if it sensed what was coming.
"We have to step outside!" I heard Wizard Dravokh say amid the ruckus.
"What?" Drayton challenged.
"It is her battle, Alpha. We cannot interfere, so please let's step outside and wait." urged the wizard.
"You must be insane to think I will leave my mate in here, old man!" Drayton snarled back at him. "No one should leave. I want to make sure nothing happens to her."
"It will, Alpha Drayton." Gamma Kael chimed in.
"What do you mean?"
"Your presence here will only impede her powers. You cannot stand in the same building because you are going to be sharing her aura; hence, she cannot be at her full potential."
"Fine, " Drayton grudgingly concurred.
