Two weeks?
Did he just declare that he wants to get married to me in two weeks?
To say I'm stunned right now had to be an understatement. What?
My lips parted in disbelief and I couldn't form the words to respond with.
He arched his brow, issuing me a quizzical look. "You do not want to marry me?"
"Of course, I do," I admitted truthfully. "I'm just shocked because—"
"We are meant to have gotten married from the onset." He cut in, paused to brush off something from my face, and then added. "But because you are not divorced yet, I decided to give it a break. I want to do right by you, Elysia. I want to have you all to myself. I want to start a family with you." His eyes held a volume of sincerity that made me feel nothing but ease. Knowing a man desired me this much.
