Travelling through the shadows, he reached deep into the cavern. He peeked his head out to see the golden light shining through the cavern.
“I thought they said they don’t like light. Maybe it’s just the sun...no, they backed away from the Rias light….hmm, maybe this is the only type of light they can stand. What is it anyway?”
“I s-s-s-smell a-a-an i-i-i-intruder”
Hephit ducked back into the shadows, observing from there. Since the cavern was brightly lit, he could see the tree-like creatures on the wall. A single creature stood around the source of light, looking for the intruder. He could hear the hissing of the other ones from outside, still going out in droves.
“W-W-W-Where is t-t-t-the i-i-i-intruder?!”
Hephit jumped out of the shadow, landing right in front of the creature.
