SINCE AZIOLITH THE dragon woke up, I didn’t feel comfortable staying in his cavern. I was fine staying there when he was asleep for two years—he actually needed me to make sure he wasn’t dead then—but when he woke up it felt like I was cramping his style. I still visited him often, but I decided to stay back at my mother’s house in Chandler. Chandler hadn’t been the same since I closed its portal to Hell almost a decade ago, but my little block, the one where my mother used to live, was thriving.
