Connor disappeared for the second time in late July 1972.
In the south of England, it was a wet month, but in Scotland and Northern Ireland, it was the sunniest July since 1955.
For the past several months, the unwritten arrangement between Emilee and Connor had been to meet at five in the afternoon every other day. Once she implemented her plan of action to help Connor, by the end of May they saw each other every day, on her insistence.
