Revenge For His Queen

Her name was Everlyn.

The gift of God, and by far, was she one of a kind. She was like no other.

Her mother would tell her when she was a little girl that she was special, that she would outshine all the other supernatural creatures, but she never listened. How could she be so special when she was constantly bullied? Her whole life, she had been treated differently. Boys would call her names, and girls would pull her hair, but as she got older, the names changed to vulgar comments, and the hair-pulling turned into manipulation.

Men were mean to her, but the girls? They were worse.

She never understood why she got treated that way, she knew she wasn’t a bad person, and the girls would call her ugly, but she knew she wasn’t.

She would fight back, retaliate when she was called a ‘w***e’, and slap the person who would bring up her family.

She fought back as the boys grabbed onto her until there were too many of them for her to fight off and all she could do was scream. Then the screaming turned to muffled sounds of agony as one of the boys shoved his shirt in her mouth, so she lay there. She lay there, unmoving, with nothing left to do. The pain felt numb as she stared at each and every one of them, taking in their features so she could get her revenge.

She needed to get revenge, for forgiveness was no longer an option.

She didn’t want to go to the Alpha. His son was the main boy. He raised the monster that tricked her into feeling like she was special, only to rip that away from her the next day. So she knew she’d have to get her revenge another way-a way where she won’t be condemned to her death for killing another wolf.

And what better way was to get the king to fall for her charm so she could hold power? So together, they could get her revenge, and no one would question their motives. Why would anyone question the Alpha King?

Together, they would rule the wolf kingdom.
