Prologue

The woman stood tall in the front row of the crowd, her back straight as she stared at the man walking towards her. Her eyes blazed alight as the two made eye contact, neither one of them cowering away from the intense gazes from each other. His steps were slow but intimidating and came to a halt as he stopped in front of her. He ignored all the other women around as his focus was on her and her only. He broke the contact first, his eyes skimming over her hourglass figure. He looked at the red dress that hugged her body in all the right places with a slit in the fabric from the waist down. There was no way she was wearing underwear; you would’ve been able to see it. The thought of this beauty not wearing underwear with all these other wolves around made his mind go reeling. Her tanned leg was on show. It was a tease; this woman knew exactly what she was doing. Then his eyes moved onto her face, the dark red lipstick she wore matched her dress, her black hair in beautiful waves that cascaded down to her stomach, and her eyes… her eyes held a fire in them that he had not seen in another. Everything about this woman screamed power, and he knew then that she would be the one.
