Sheryl's Pov Being in the Hospital is boring, knowing you'll be de*d soon is a nightmare. While I'm in deep thoughts I heard someone's knocking. "Come in" then the door opened. It was my Mother Susan she often visited me, my Dad was always busy from all the works he had to finish. He was a famous and successful business man in our town but sometimes he make time to visit me here. "Hey sweetie how are u feeling I prepared your favorite foods" Mom said while she was putting the foods she prepared for me at the table. "Thanks Mom" forcing a smile. Mom's Pov Our life been difficult for us when Sheryl got cancer, Her dad don't visit her often at the hospital because of his work. Sheryl is our only child I can't take the risk of losing her someday, We keep changing Hospitals to Hospitals because they said she's fit to be there and they said they can't help her I was mad yet I'm thinking about my daughter's safety and I believe that she'll be fine like a normal teenager someday. I'm in the Hospital where my daughter was in I always visited her to check if she was okay and she's getting stronger every day but whenever I visited she's always on zoned out. Today I prepared her favorite food she used to eat this every day when she was a kid, Oh I miss the little Sheryl. I went to the elevator and went to her floor which near the rooftops. *Flashback* We at the Park it was summer, We always go to parks every summer she loved playing under the sun, I'm watching our little Sheryl play at the swings and slides. Her giggles makes my day bright and happy. "Careful Sheryl you might trip" I saw her running around and I'm worried she might trip on the rocky like sand of the playground. After a few minutes, I signaled her to come to me because she's sweating and I don't want her to get sick. "Omg Ryl you're sweating like crazy here I'll change your clothes cause it's wet now" "But mommy I don't want to change" she's always like this so I always make something for it to make her do as I say "After I change you're clothes we're going to get ice cream, your favorite Baskin Robbins" she's so pretty when she smiles. I get her to go change and bought her the ice cream I promised her. "You like the Cookies and Cream honey?" she nodded and continue eating her ice cream while driving us back home. *End of flashback* Still Mom's Pov As soon as I heard the bell from the elevator ring I got out and went to her room and knocked as soon I heard her angelic voice "Come in" I opened the door and was greeted by the zoned out Sheryl. Sheryl's Pov Mom and I keep talking about my childhood and how I've been so clumsy when I was a kid, her emotions was mixed i saw her eyes it was full of sadness but she was happy telling it to me "One time when you are just 4 years old I caught u taking a chair and climbing on the top of the shelf just to get your favorite rice krispies hahaha and I was on panic thinking what worse that could happen if I wasn't there" she keeps going on and on. I miss those kind of I wish I can go back time when I was still fine and healthy kid, time passes Mom didn't realize that it was past her visit hour the nurses called on her "Ma'am it's time for you to go home our patient need a rest" "Oh yeah I totally forgot about that I was lost in time talking to my daughter" she smiled and turned to me "Take care of yourself always hmm, I'll visit often okay I love u darling" I smiled and she kisses my forehead before leaving. "All alone again" I thought. After Mom left the nurses come in to check up on me if I was improving or not, she handed me food and medicine to take "After you eat your food ma'am take this medicine so that you'll get better" "You always say that" I said sadly. After my meal and after I take my medicine "Can I go by myself to the rooftop" I asked the nurses looked at me concerned "I'll be fine I'm not gonna do anything bad up there" I added. She was hesitant but she agreed she left and headed my way to the rooftop all the patients go there it was a safe rooftop more like of a helicopter landing rooftop but more elegant it was more of a garden. You get the beautiful view of the city I love looking at it especially at night it gives me peace and make me forget all those thoughts that are in my head. There's a bench near the those very beautiful roses which is my favorite flower. I always admire it and I love the smell of those fresh flowers. While I was admiring the flowers in the garden I felt someone was beside me. It was Male he looked like he was around my age and he seemed so grumpy looking guy. "Hi I'm Sheryl nice to meet you" I offered my hand. "Oh I'm Matt nice to meet you too" But he ignore my hand with no expression. "Well that was awkward" I thought. There's moment of silence between us but I get the courage to talk with him even though he's not interested. "Matt right? So what are you doing here" "Doing the same that you do admiring the beautiful view of the city" still no expression "Are you like this to the people you met" "Like what?" facing his direction at me "He has the beautiful green eyes I've ever seen and perfect features" I was zoned out by the look of his face I didn't realize he was calling my name "Hey are you okay I know I'm handsome but don't stare at me like you're inlove with me" he smirked. "You wish eww I was looking at you because you have booger on your nose" I giggled and he immediately looked away and giggled by my silliness. As soon as we are laughing one of the nurses called my name and told that I have to go back to my room to rest I immediately said goodbye to Matt and he smiled and wave goodbye at me.
